Speeding cop faces ban

The head of a police force’s driving school faces a ban after cameras clocked him doing 118mph at an accident blackspot. Inspector Paul Gee of Durham Police was in uniform driving a marked BMW diesel 5 series and was snapped by a mobile camera on a bridge over the M9 near Falkirk last month. Central Scotland Police have sent a notice of intended prosecution to Durham Police headquarters.
