Speed limiters survey

A survey of 500 road users has shown that many people believe fitting speed restrictors to young driver’s cars would improve road safety.  Sixty per cent believe such a device would reduce young driver accident statistics.  Sixty-one per cent also believe the minimum driving age should rise to 18, opposing recent DFT plans to introduce on-road driving lessons for 16-year-olds.
