Great Lincolnshire Road

Whilst enjoying a day out riding during the recent MCN Butlins weekend, I found myself around Nettleham, North Lincolnsire. I picked up signs for Skegness A158 and was rather impressed with this road. I will definately make it one to ride again this summer.

Big fine for 183mph biker

A South African motorcyclist has been fined R102000 (£7371.10) after he was caught speeding at 183mph in KwaZulu-Natal. The fine was also set by magistrates for the rider, jan Hendrick, not displaying number plates and riding an unlicensed motorbike. He’ll only have to pay R50000 at the moment, but if he commits a similar crime int he next five years, the balance of the fine will then be due.

Kent Police has voluntarily referred a bike crash involving a police car to the Independent Police Complaints Commission. The crash happened on Sunday May 6 in Longfield causing serious injuries to the rider and life-threatening injuries. The crash has been referred to the IPCC due to a police car’s proximity to the bike.
