Win a brand-new Suzuki GSX-8R sportsbike simply by getting an insurance quote with MCN Compare

An online competition has been launched giving MCN readers the chance to win a brand-new Suzuki GSX-8R sportsbike by simply taking out an insurance quote.

The 8R arrived at the start of last year, powered by the Japanese firm’s 776cc parallel-twin engine. This motor is shared by the firm’s GSX-8S naked and took home the accolade of MCN’s 2024 Sportsbike of the Year Award.

Designed to go up against the likes of Aprilia’s RS660, and Honda’s CBR650R, it emerged as our favourite new-age soft sportsbike of 2024 – with a comfortable, accessible riding position and real-world performance.

The contest is being run by our insurance comparison experts MCN Compare, and will run from 9am on Friday, January 24, to 11:59pm on Tuesday, July 15.

The bike will be finished in silver, and you will need to get an insurance quote online with MCN Compare within that time frame to take part. It’s as simple as that.

The Suzuki is the third bike we’ve given away in this style, having previously announced winners of both a semi-automatic Yamaha MT-09 Y-AMT, and a Suzuki GSX-8S naked.

George Stoddart from Clitheroe won our last MT-09 prize and said: “I can’t believe it. Christmas came early this year! I was already looking for a Yamaha MT-07, or Suzuki GSX-8S, but I couldn’t believe it when I was contacted.”
