Endurance racer Sylvain Guintoli raises over £4000 for children's cancer charity with kit auction

Former World Superbike and Endurance World champion, Sylvain Guintoli has auctioned off several racing items from his 2024 season in order to raise money for Young Lives vs Cancer – a British charity which focusses on supporting children and young people affected by the disease.

Guintoli pledged 100% of the final amount raised to the charity, selling a number of unique items through eBay to raise a total of £4203.

The cause is particularly close to home for the Frenchman after his young son, Luca was diagnosed with cancer earlier this year.

The items on sale included a custom RST one-piece race suit, RST gloves, Shark Aeron GP carbon helmet, Gaerne race boots, and more, with the listings ending on Sunday, December 15.

On top of the auction, the motorcycle racing star has also set up a Just Giving page, which has already generated a further £9270 – with donations continuing to arrive.
