  • KAWASAKI Z900 (2025-on)

    MCN rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

The Z900 is still a confidence inspiring, stable machine that is happy to be pushed

  • HONDA NC750X (2025-on)

    MCN rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

It’s smoother and more practical than ever, but its performance still punches well above its weight

  • KOVE 125R (2025-on)

    MCN rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

Kove’s new 125R costs just £3499 and for that you get the kind of goodies you’d be happy to see on a mega-bucks super naked

  • NAXEON I AM PRO (2024-on)

    MCN rating
    3 out of 5 (3/5)

The IAM Pro’s radical design reflects how proudly and provocatively different it is, unhindered by the inertia of convention

  • HONDA CB1000 HORNET SP (2025-on)

    MCN rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)

The new Honda CB1000 Hornet SP is a breath of fresh air for motorcycling, in a world where performance bikes have become ever more expensive and out of reach

  • TRIUMPH SPEED TWIN 1200 (2025-on)

    MCN rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

As before Triumph’s Speed Twin 1200 mixes retro style, with flawless build quality, thoughtful detailing, high performance and comfort.

  • TRIUMPH SPEED TWIN 1200 RS (2025-on)

    MCN rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

It might wear retro threads and has a name inspired by the 1937 original but show it a funky piece of road and the RS is every inch the modern performance bike.

  • HONDA CB1100 EX (2017-2021)

    Overall owners' rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

Lovely looking modern classic. Well engineered with a smooth 4 cylinder air and oil cooled engine. Great looking dials and a raw simplicity with ABS being the only nod to rider aids. Heavy bike to push on dodgy ground and I’m always conscious where I park to avoid pea gravel in pub car parks...

  • KTM 790 ADVENTURE R (2019-2020)

    Overall owners' rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

18,000 miles (75% on road) A bike in this segment shouldn't be this agile, the saddle tank and suspension are a game changer. Enjoyed many trips around the UK and Europe and found it practical and great fun.

  • APRILIA SHIVER 750 (2007-2009)

    Overall owners' rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

I really like the bike. Solo touring is a doddle. Brakes, suspension good enough for me and riding position excellent if you have back issues like me. Worst part is the low speed fuelling whis is dreadful. Avoid 30mph areas like the plague.

  • HONDA CBR600RR (2007-2008)

    Overall owners' rating
    5 out of 5 (5/5)

I'm going to start by just saying my CBR is almost exclusively used for commuting (30km (19mile) round-trip). Everyone online will tell you supersports can't be commuters (or shouldn't be), don't believe them. Consider your own scenario. If it's hot where you live, not very windy, you're in a...

  • HONDA CB1000R Black Edition (2021-2024)

    Overall owners' rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

I can’t stop recommending this bike to everyone that’s the problem. I’ve customised the exhaust, seat, tail tidy, removed the swing arm and rizoma mirrors. No end of appreciation when I take it out even from non motorcyclists. Best feature - the Jekyll and Hyde nature of the bike. Under 5k...

  • DUCATI SCRAMBLER 800 (2015-on)

    Overall owners' rating
    4 out of 5 (4/5)

Great fun bike, used for a big touring trip last year (6200 miles) withour nay problems
