WSB: Provisional 2023 calendar unveiled

The provisional 2023 World Superbike Championship calendar has been unveiled with the season getting underway at Phillip Island on February 24-26.

A week later the paddock heads to the Mandalika International Street Circuit in Indonesia, before the championship enters a six-week break. Assen hosts round three on April 21-23, with the World Supersport 300 Championship also racing at the Dutch circuit for the first time.

The Catalunya Round moves forward to May 5-7, with Misano hosting round five on June 2-4. Donington Park hosts the British Round on June 30 – July 2, marking the halfway point of the 2023 season.

Most (Czech Republic) remains on the calendar for a third consecutive season on July 29-30, with the series then entering its summer break.

The racing resumes on September 8-10 at Magny-Cours. The French track will celebrate 20 years on the WorldSBK calendar, and has played an important part over the years as host to season finales.

Aragon moves to September 22-24 having hosted Round One for the last two years. This is followed by back-to-back rounds at Portimao (September 29 – October 1), and the Circuito San Juan Villicum in Argentina on October 12-15.

A 12th round is yet to be announced by Dorna.
