Jonathan Rea (Kawasaki Racing Team) secured his second win of the day and his 14th of the season in a dry race two, winning by 2.848 seconds from Chaz Davies (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati WSB). Tom Sykes (Kawasaki Racing Team) was third. Michael van der Mark (Pata Honda WSB) was four seconds behind Sykes at the end of the race.

At the beginning of the full 21-lap race pole man Leon Haslam (Aprilia Racing Team – Red Devils) took the holeshot but was attacked by Rea and by one-third distance Haslam was fourth, with, Davies, Rea and Sykes leading the charge.

Rea took the lead at halfway, with some degree of ease, and had gapped Davies by 0.8 seconds with six laps left to run.

Haslam and VDM were battling for the first off-podium places with a handful of laps left, Sylvain Guintoli (Pata Honda WSB) some six seconds behind on a basically dry track. VDM passed him on lap 17 and moved away.

Niccolo Canepa (Althea Racing Ducati) had a comfortable seventh place, ahead of Jordi Torres (Aprilia Racing Team – Red Devils) and Luca Scassa (Aruba.it Racing – Ducati WSB).

Alex Lowes (Voltcom Crescent Suzuki) was tenth, Leon Camier (MV Agusta Reparto Corse) was on the gravel after running wide and restarting 15th and he would finish in that position.
