Terol out for WSB Imola

Former 125GP champion Nico Terol will miss the next round of the 2015 World Superbike championship at Imola, after doctors confirmed the damage to his right hand sustained at Assen as a fracture.

Highsiding oout of turn four in the second race at the Dutch circuit left the Althea Ducati rider with a radial fracture to his right hand, and although a clean break not requiring surgery, his doctors have told him to sit out the Italian round as he continues to deal.

Terol will instead aim for a return later in the month at the UK round at Donington Park, on the 23rd May.
