Rea makes Kawasaki WSB debut

Jonathan Rea kicked off his career as a factory Kawasaki World Superbike rider at the Aragon Motorland circuit in Spain today. Rea who has spent his entire racing career competing on Honda’s made the switch to Kawasaki to race alongside former WSB champion Tom Sykes on board the ZX-10R.

Rea had to wait until the afternoon to allow the track to dry after heavy rain this morning, but was still able to complete valuable laps and begin dialling in the Kawasaki to his liking.

The Kawasaki team were joined on track by the factory Ducati WSB team of Chaz Davies and Davide Guigliano.

Testing continues tomorrow for a final day before kicking off again at Jerez next week.
