Fabrizio sets out to rebuild his career

Michel Fabrizio left the Iron Brain Grillini Kawasaki squad many months ago after a disappointing start to his 2014 year on the privateer Ninja. Since then he has been evaluating his future and has had some dark moments, which he hopes are all behind him now, after putting in a good second fastest showing on the first day at Jerez.

“I only did 30 laps in bad conditions, but the feeling was good,” said the former WSB race winner. “The lap time was good for me. For six months with no race, it was much better today. Only today I improved my morale; the past six months have been very difficult for me psychologically.”

As a former Aprilia rider in WSB, some things were familiar for Fabrizio. “I remember the Aprilia but this one is much different for the chassis the front fork, and the new components and parts. It is possible to ride for the team next year but depends on me. If I am fast.”
