Ducati have unveiled their official WSB team for 2014, as they, as reported weeks ago in MCN, link up with former factory BMW outfit Feel Racing to run Chaz Davies and Davide Giugliano, in an attempt to return to their winning ways.

The squad, officially named  the Ducati Superbike Team, will be ran out of Ducati Corse in Bologna by  Feel Racing, described in the official announcement as “a formation with which Ducati achieved many past victories within the production-based race series. Already operational with an efficient and well trained structure, the team is ready and motivated to face the challenge of 2014.”

Gigi Dall’Igna, formerly the head of Ducati’s biggest Italian rivals Aprilia’s WSB effort, will oversee the team in his role as Ducati Corse General manager, alongside Ducati Corse Sporting Director Paolo Ciabatti.

However, the Panigale project will be handled by Superbike Project Director Ernesto Marinelli, the highly experienced team manager who has worked with the likes of Fogarty, Hodgson and Bayliss, while day-to-day management will come from Serafino Foti, currently the Sporting Director of the Goldbet BMW team.
