Following his high speed crash at Oulton Park, Yukio Kagayama has been ruled out of competing at Monza this weekend for the Yoshimura Suzuki team. Kagayama crashed heavily and has a suspected C7 vertebrae and was subsequently not allowed to race.

Factory Suzuki rider Daisaku Sakai has replaced Kagayama and got his first taste of WSB competition earlier this afternoon. Sakai survived a crash during his 20 laps of the circuit and finished the session in 21st place, 2.981s off Crutchlow’s pole time.

Yoshimura Suzuki will race in the Imola and Magny Cours rounds later in the year and plan to complete full time in the series in 2011.
