Two time World Superbike champion Troy Corser believes that his BMW S1000RR will be a much stronger package when he heads out on track for the next round of testing in two weeks time.

Corser and team-mate Ruben Xaus didn’t complete last months multi team Valencia test, instead concentrating on private testing throughout Spain themselves.

But in two weeks time the BMW team will take part in an official all team test at Portimao in Portugal giving them the opportunity to see what progress they have made compared to their rivals.

Speaking to MCN, Corser said: “I’m expecting the bike to be better. I’ve already tested parts of the 2010 bike but I haven’t ridden the bike with all the new parts at the same time.

“Our tester Steve Martin did and he was really happy with the power, the delivery and the chassis, so fingers crossed.

“We’ve got three days of testing and I’m confident we’ll make some good progress.”
