Is Max Biaggi favourite for victory at Valencia?

Max Biaggi arrives in Valencia this weekend as the man already being tipped for victory at the Spanish track.

Two weeks ago the 38 year old Italian took his first ever WSB double after two tough races with Leon Haslam in Portugal.

Biaggi also topped the time sheets in testing in December and has subsequently benefitted from another test at the circuit in February.

He said: “This track has always been good to me and I like to race here. The testing we did here went well and we were consistently at the top.

“I’m not going to say that I am favourite for the win, but I feel that we will come here in a good position for the races.”

Biaggi has never won on a Superbike at Valencia and will be looking to add it to the list and increase his six career WSB wins to date.
