Kyalami WSB: Superpole results, Spies takes pole

Ben Spies landed his sixth superpole after a fierce duel with Michael Fabrizio for the position. Spies only managed to land the position in the final sections of superpole, and by a tiny margin of just 0.001 of a second.

Jonathan Rea landed an impressive fith, only just behind Haga. Haga (the current leader on points) was nearly knocked out of the second round of superpole but managed to just squeeze ahead of Shinya Nakano befor the cut.
