Kyalami WSB: Fabrizio fastest, Brits on the pace

Michel Fabrizio set the fastest time in free practice
Monza race winner Michel Fabrizio continued his impressive run of form by topping the timesheets in the opening Free Practice session at Kyalami today.
The Xerox Ducati rider who dominated the three day test at the South African circuit in December last year picked up where he left of by posting a 1m 40.067s best.
Ten Kate Honda men Carlos Checa and Jonathan Rea were both in good form securing second and third with another Honda man Leon Haslam in fourth.
Factory Aprilia rider Shinya Nakano showed his team-mate Max Biaggi the way in fifth with Shane Byrne making a strong start to his weekend in sixth.
First qualifying for Sunday’s two races kicks off at 15.05 local time.
