Parkalgar WSB test: BMW top first wet session

1 of 1

BMW men Troy Corser and Ruben Xaus secured first and second positions in the opening session on day two of the Parkalgar WSB test this morning.

Although there has been no rain since lat night the track is taking a long time to dry with Corser’s best lap time still over six seconds off Shane Byrne’s leader board topping time of Friday afternoon.

Third place went Guandalini Ducati rider Jacob Smrz with factory Aprilia rider Shinya Nakano in fourth.

Brits Leon Haslam and Jonathan Rea ventured out on track but didn’t complete a flying lap due to the conditions. Shane, Tom Sykes and Tommy Hill opted not to venture out on track.
