Strong start for Brits at Valencia

Craig Jones, Jonathan Rea and Chris Walker made it three British riders in the top ten during the opening World Supersport Free Practice session at Valencia this morning.

Parkalgar Honda rider, Jones secured fourth place ahead of Hannspree ten Kate Honda man Rea, who had earlier sat at the top of the time sheets.

Chris Walker made a solid start onboard his Gil Kawasaki by holding ninth place for the majority of the 35 minute session.

Graeme Gowland ended the first session in 15th spot onboard his Benjam Honda CBR600RR.

Factory Yamaha man and Qatar race winner Broc Parkes set the fastest time with series leader Josh Brookes down in 11th spot.
