World Superbikes: Carlos Checa in Ten Kate Honda talks

Carlos Checa is holding a meeting with Ten Kate Honda right now (Monday lunchtime) to find out if the Spaniard will sign a deal to ride in World Superbikes next year.

Carlos Checa is locked in a meeting with team boss Ronald Ten Kate and team owner Gerrit Ten Kate but as yet, no contract had yet been signed.

Ronald Ten Kate said: “We have a meeting with Carlos Checa this afternoon and if we all have a positive feeling and understand what needs to be done then it’s possible a contract will be signed today.

“We have a contract with Andrew Pitt signed already – we just do not know where he will race as a part of the Ten Kate team in WSB or Supersport yet.”
