Well done Eurosport for swapping channels… I had set for it to record WSB while I was out, but missed the lot. Well done for all those that went to Silverstone and all those racing in such horrible conditions. My 16-year-old son had a good start to his motorcycling career – he took his CBT in that terrible weather.

Silverstone WSB cancelled!? I was there, it wasn’t raining that bad – in fact when the second superbike race should have started it wasn’t even raining, they sweeped all the water off the racing lines. I’ve seen much worse at Brands and Donington BSB last year and Donington MotoGP the year before. I reckon the riders just didn’t fancy it… 45 quid for a couple of races is bo**ocks.
