Bayliss tops qualifying
Troy Bayliss has put his factory Ducati on provisional pole for the first World Superbike meeting at the revised Assen circuit in Holland.
Bayliss posted a fastest lap of 1:39.336 to head Ducati team-mate Lorenzo Lanzi, with Michel Fabrizio third fastest. James Toseland improved from eighth fastest in the first practice session to end qualifying in fourth, with Chris Walker 13th, and Craig Jones 26th, ahead of Kurtis Roberts and Harry Van Beek.
