Bayliss on pole

Troy Bayliss has continued his domination at the Lausitz Ring taking pole position for Sunday’s race.

The Ducati rider set the best lap in the qualifying session then went on to take the top spot by setting the fastest lap in the single lap superpole contest.

Bayliss lines up against his closest rivals in the titel race with Noriyuki Haga taking the second place on the grid followed by Brit James Toseland.

Andrew Pitt takes the final place on the front row.
