Yamaha keep WSS duo

Kevin Curtain and Broc Parkes will stay with the Yamaha Motor Germany team for 2007, despite Curtain crashing out of the World Supersport title at the final round at Magny-Cours on Sunday, October 8, 2006.

Curtain needed to finish in eighth position or better to secure the championship but crash out of fourth place, with team-mate Parkes finishing third. Both will continue in the Yamaha Motor Germany squad next season.

Fellow Yamaha World Supersport rider Massimo Roccoli will also stay with Yamaha, signing a two year contract extension for the Yamaha Motor Italia team. Roccoli finished the year in sixth in the championship.
