Steady start for Biaggi

All eyes were on Max Biaggi at the major Valencia WSB test, as series fans waited to see how the four-time GP world champion would perform in his first track outing against the stars who will be his rivals next year – and he didn’t disappoint.
Biaggi ended the first day in fifth fastest spot, despite not riding competitively since the end of 2005 when he left MotoGP, and already it looks like Suzuki are giving him special treatment.

The Italian had two bikes at his disposal, while team-mate yukio Kagayama had just one, with both using hybrid ‘06/’07 machinery as the final 2007 bike is still being worked on.
Biaggi’s 1:35.2 best on day one of the test was 0.5s back from James Toseland who was fastest, but interestingly was 0.4s faster than the man he replaced at Suzuki, Troy Corser.
