Shakey link to WSB

Former British Superbike champ Shakey Byrne was an interested spectator in Valencia at the November World Superbike test – and he spent plenty of time in talks with Yamaha’s European race boss.

The 2003 BSB champ, replaced by Chris Walker at Rizla Suzuki, was seen in talks with Yamaha’s Laurens Klein Koerkamp, and it’s now said the Yamaha France ride vacated by Norick Abe in WSB was on the agenda.
