Toseland starts from 3rd

The Aussies dominated qualifying for Sunday’s Australian WSB round but Brit James Toseland managed to hold on to take third place in Superpole.

The two Troys battled it out for the top spot with Bayliss taking pole on the Xerox Ducati and current champ Corser just over 0.2 seconds behind in second.

Finishing the front is Aussie Steve Martin putting Foggy Petronas on the front row after a dismal performance in the first round of the season at Qatar.

Alex Barros heads the second row followed by Karl Muggeridge and the two Yamahas of Andrew Pitt and Noriyuki Haga.

Chris Walker starts the race from 10th.
