Troy Bayliss has posted the fastest time in the second qualifying session for the Brands WSB round on Sunday, August 6, 2006, leading the field as they prepare for Superpole.

Bayliss posted a time of 1:26.572 to head Noriyuki Haga with 1:26.376, Regis laconi with 1:26.433 and Troy Corser with 1:26.606. James Toseland managed to qualify in sixth position, with Tommy Hill seventh. Hill has been as high as fourth during the session. WSS: British wildcard Cal Crutchlow heads the times from World Supersport free practice, despite a fall midway through the session. Both Crutchlow and Ten Kate Honda rider Kenan Sofuoglu fell during the timed practice.

Crutchlow’s team-mate Leon Camier posted the 11th fastest time, with fellow Brit Stuart Easton in 22nd and Tom Tunstall 25th. Click here for the full time sheet.

Stock 1000s: In Superstock 1000 free practice, Ayrton Badovini has gone fastest on the MV Agusta, with a time of 1.30.162, heading fellow Italians Sacchetti, Scassa, Polita and Corti.
