Brits to race Suzuka

The British Diablo 666 World Endurance team will compete at the Suzuka 8 Hour endurance race in Japan on July 31 due to their high placing in the Endruance championship.

The team hadn’t planned to compete due to the high cost of attending the prestitigious event, but as Diablo 666 is currently fourth in the championship, the decision was made not to miss out on valuable points.

Regular riders James Hutchins and Steve Mizera will be joined by new recruit Gary Mason for the event, along with partner Kawasaki team, Bolliger Kawasaki.

British based Yamaha Phase 1 Endurance will also be competing. The 2004 race was won by the Seven Stars Works Honda Fireblade, ridden by Tohru Ukawa and Hitoyasu Izutsu.

The Suzuka 8 Hours takes place on July 31, 2005.
