Walker fined and banned

Chris Walker has been fined £1000 and banned from driving for 60 days after being clocked at 130mph in his Subaru car.

WSB star Walker was driving in Leicestershire on a 70mph stretch of the A46 dual-carriageway when he was caught, according to the BBC (you can read the full BBC report by clicking HERE) He told magistrates in Loughborough a long ban would make it difficult for him to keep his racing commitments in 2005 – some of which depended on his driving his motorhome to races.

He admitted the offence but said he was speeding in reponse to being tail-gated by another driver.
