Rainy test for Hodgson

Neil Hodgson and team-mate Eric Bostrom have battled the elements to test at Laguna Seca this week.

The two-day test took began on Tuesday, February 15, with Hodgson managing just six laps on the first day due to rain. Wednesday saw a big improvement with both riders able to ride for most of the day. Hodgson’s best time was a 1:26.42 lap with Bostrom recording a fastest time in the high 1:27 range.

“We achieved what we needed in about half a day of track time,” said Hodgson. “It feels much like my ‘old’ bike I used to win the World Championship. It’s going really, really well at the moment.”

The Parts Unlimited Ducati Austin team has now finished testing and will prepare for the opening race of the season at the Daytona International Speedway on March 10-13.
