No Triumphs at Brands

The Triumph ValMoto team has pulled out of the Supersport race at Brands Hatch this weekend to concentrate on their British championship campaign.

The team were due to field rider Craig Jones, but will instead focus on repairing crash damage and mechanical wear and tear on their Daytona 600s ahead of a two-day test at Croft next week in preparation for round 10 of the British Supersport Championship at the circuit on August 15.

“We’re very disappointed because we know a lot of fans wanted to see us in the world championship,” said team mamanger Jack Valentine. “Our main focus this year is the British Championship and with only four rounds reamining, it’s time to turn our season around, and we can only do that by committing all of our effort.”
