Noryuki Haga has bounced back from a disappointing retirement on his return to WSB to take victory in the second race at Valencia in Spain.

The Japanese rider was able to take the win despite a moment in the closing stages costing him time. James Toseland was happy to settle for second place and points, whilst Steve Martin reached his first podium after the disappointment of his engine failure in the first race. The Australian had to work for it, as he had Pier-Francesco Chili fighting with him for mush of the time. Chris Vermuelen took a good fifth place on the Honda FireBlade, whilst Ivan Clementi gave the Kawasaki ZX-10R its first WSB race finish in 14th.

Chris Walker finished in seventh place, while Leon Haslam salvaged ninth place after running off the circuit from fifth.
