Hodgson fastest in Misano free practice

Neil Hodgson has gone fastest in free practice for this weekend’s World Superbike races at Misano in Italy.

The factory Ducati rider completed 29 laps, the most in the session, with a best time of 1:35.397. Second is Pier Franchesco Chili on 1:35.726, and third is Regis Laconi on 1:35.777.

Broc Parkes is fastest in Supersport free practice with a time of 1:38.183 on his Dark Dog Honda CBR600RR. Reigning champion Fabien Foret is second quickest on the Kawasaki, with a 1:38.247. Chris Vermeulen is third on the Ten Kate bike on 1:38.251, and Jurgen Van Den Goorbergh is fourth with 1:38.394.

Fifth is Pere Riba (1:38.420), sixth is Matteo Baiocco (1:38.786), seventh is Katsuaki Fujiwara 1:38.819, eighth is Simone Sanna (1:38.845), ninth is Jorg Teuchert (1:38.918), and tneth is Alession Corradi (1:38.938).

Brit Iain MacPherson is in 19th on the Van Zon Honda with a 1:39.537.
