Walker test hopes dented

Chris Walker’s race for fitness in time for his GSE Racing WSB squad’s important first test looks bleak.

The pins in the ankle he damaged earlier this month in a supermoto race in Mettet, Belgium have shifted and one has already parted from the bone.

Doctors have told him he will definitely need another operation, but with just over five weeks until GSE’s test he’ll need stellar recuperative powers if he’s to join James Toseland and the team in Valencia on December 6.
