Edwards takes Superpole

Honda rider Colin Edwards held off Troy Bayliss to take pole position for tomorrow’s races in Kyalami. Bayliss, second, was followed by fellow Ducati rider Ben Bostrom, and Noriyuki Haga on the Aprilia finished the front row.

Britain’s Neil Hodgson took fifth, with teammate James Toseland tenth, Chris Walker twelth, and Mark Heckles twentieth.
