Roads: Davey Todd returns to Milenco by Padgett’s Motorcycles Racing for Isle of Man TT Supersport and Supertwin races

2024 Senior TT race winner Davey Todd has reunited with Milenco by Padgett’s Motorcycles Racing ahead of the 2025 Isle of Man TT.

Todd will contest the two four-lap Monster Energy Supersport races onboard the latest spec Honda CBR600RR, before switching to the team’s Paton for the three-lap Metzeler and Entire Cover insurance Supertwin races. It’s the first time that the team has entered the Supertwin class.

Todd has enjoyed previous success with Milenco by Padgett’s Motorcycles Racing both on the roads and within the Bennetts British Superbike Championship paddock. In 2022, Todd secured his maiden TT podium with third in the Superstock class, before going on to finish second and third in the Supersport races the following year. Todd also became National Superstock Champion with the team in 2022.

“I’m super excited to be joining forces with the Padgett’s team again, back with the team I know and love from the last few years when we did some great things together,” Todd said.  “Joining back with them for the Supersport and Supertwin races at the TT is something I’m really, really looking forward to.

“I know that the CBR has improved a little bit more since I last rode it and that the team have improved the bike further themselves so I’m really excited to getting back out on it whilst the Paton has proven to be the bike to be on recently in the Supertwin class.

“I’m equally excited to be working with some of the team that I would call family from our previous relationship so, I’m really excited to be back with Padgett’s and hopefully we can do some good things together.”

Todd is the man to beat heading into this year’s TT having won the Senior TT and opening Superstock race with TAS Racing BMW last season. The 2024 National Superstock Champion remains on BMW machinery in the Superbike and Superstock class this year, but has switched to the FHO Racing BMW Motorrad team for his 2025 campaign.

Todd will also represent the team at this year’s North West 200.
