Ian Hutchinson will be re-united with the Padgetts Racing squad with which he took his historic five TT victories in a week the 2018 road racing season.

The Bingley Bullet will join the Batley squad for the Supersport classes at this year’s North West 200 and Isle of Man TT as he makes a remarkable comeback from injury.

Hutchinson won both Supersport races with the Padgetts Racing squad in 2010 as he charged towards his historic five.

Originally I had planned to ride with the Honda Racing team in all three races but because I didn’t know until just two weeks ago that I would be able to race those plans changed.” Hutchinson explained.

“Clive’s circumstances had also changed with Bruce Anstey not riding this year so we were able to get the deal sorted.”

The 2018 North West 200 will mark Ian Hutchinson’s return to the roads after breaking his left leg in a crash during last year’s Senior TT.

“Tuesday practice will be steady but it will tell me where I am at with everything.” the Bingley man said.

“I haven’t walked for almost 11 months so I need to try to keep progressing in small steps.”

Conor Cummins will ride in all three classes at the NW200 with Padgett’s and Lee Johnston, Hutchinson’s Honda Racing teammate, will also campaign a Padgett’s CBR in the Supersport races at the NW200.
