Ulster GP: Hickman takes Supersport pole

1 of 1

Peter Hickman stormed to his third pole position of the week after topping the timesheets once again in this afternoon’s Ulster Grand Prix Supersport Qualifying.

It was Silicone Engineering Kawasaki’s Dean Harrison who led the way for the first half of the session but Hickman’s quickest time came at the mid-way point to displace the Yorkshireman at the top of the timesheets.

Lapping the 7.4 mile course in 3’29.246 seconds (average speed 127.333mph), Hickman had done enough to take pole for Saturday’s two Supersport races by 0.124 seconds.

Completing the front row for Padgetts Honda is Bruce Anstey, who was some 1.5 seconds off Hickman’s quickest time.
