Lintin takes first ever TT win

1 of 1

Ivan Lintin has taken his first ever win at the Isle of Man TT, after taking the RC Express Kawasaki that Dean Harrison won on last year to victory in today’s Lightweight TT.

He led from the first lap, only challenged in the early stages by former winner Ryan Farquhar. However, a thirty second penalty for speeding in pit lane followed by a mechanical problem eventually ruled the Northern Irishman out of the fight.

Another former winner, James Hillier on the Bournemouth Kawasaki, was second, benefitting from Farquhar’s problems, ahead of an impressive performance on the ILR Paton for Michael Rutter. Lee Johnston, also a podium challenger on the second KMR Kawasaki, was also caught out with mechanical problems.
