Dunlops Reign at Armoy

1 of 7

I was reminded of the old days of road racing on Saturday when the top riders were not in the main paddock at Armoy. They were in fact situated in a farm yard up a laneway opposite the start.

Michael Dunlop did the treble once again with Michael Pearson and Ryan Farquhar also exchanging the lead in the open races.

William Dunlop won the 125 but didn’t have the same luck in the 250 race. Guy Martin was also riding in preparation for the Ulster Grand Prix and as per usual the cameras were on him all day.

It was a great days racing and the riders all seemed relaxed prior to the feature race.
