Isle of Man TT: Guy Martin tests dramatic tweaks ahead of Senior

Yesterday saw a rest day for most of the island, with most people enjoying an ice cream or two. But Hydrex Honda’s Guy Martin – ever the hard worker – was down at Jurby Airfield, trying out some “dramatic changes” to the bike.

Guy was in great spirits after the tests, his mechanic telling MCN: “Guy was delighted with how it went, and that is what is important. If Guy’s happy with the bike he’s sure to go fast”. The changes should make some improvements to the handling and steering – something Guy’s had problems with earlier in the week. 

The Senior race goes out at quarter past one so only time will tell if the changes have made that all important difference, and earned Big Guy that elsuive podium top step.
