Farquhar wins 600cc races at Southern 100

Ryan Farquhar took the Senior and 600cc race wins at the Southern 100 yesterday evening, to add the 1000cc victory he scored on Tuesday night.

The Dungannon-based Kawasaki privateer has now beaten Hydrex Honda’s Guy Martin and Conor Cummins on the McAdoo Kawasaki in both big-bike races.

Farquhar also had the advantage over Michael Dunlop in the 600 race while Michael’s brother William won the 250 race from Ian Lougher and Chris Palmer.

Racing continues this afternoon at 1.15pm on the 4.25mile Billown circuit near Castletown, Isle of Man.
