Joey Dunlop

It was January 1997 at the MCN Road Racing and Superbike Show (at Alexander Palace, I think?) I was fortunate enough to meet one of my all time heroes, ‘yer maun’ together with his brother Robert.

Many other greats were there and were all very approachable. Joey was exceptional, so shy and modest but once he got going there was no stopping him.
