Crutchlow looking forward to French fans

Cal Crutchlow is relishing the opportunity of returning to Le Mans, a track where he’s enjoyed success in the past – and where he has the support of the sometimes-rabid French fans!

Building a fan base in the country during his time riding for the Monster Tech 3 team – and taking a podium finish into the bargain – he says he’s looking forward to the return to the circuit on the LCR Honda this weekend.

“It’s always a good feeling to be going to Le Mans, I like racing there. Yeah, it might not be the best circuit on the calendar for me, but I’ve had a podium there in the past. Last year things didn’t go to plan at all for me there, but I hope to put in some hard work on the Honda there this weekend. We know the manufacturer is pulling out all the stops, and from the LCR Honda Team point of view we’ll also be doing our best job as always.”

“I’m looking forward to seeing a lot of fans there over the weekend, because it’s a massive event that fans travel to watch from all over France, and I just hope that we can be competitive from here on in the championship.”
