The Estrella Galicia 0,0 MarcVDS Hondas of Jack Miller and Tito Rabat, as well as their Moto2 bikes and the Estrella Galicia-backed Moto3 machines of the Monlau Technical School team, will sport a special colour scheme this weekend for their sponsors home race in Barcelona.

They’ll wear a special black and gold livery to celebrate the 110th birthday of team sponsor and beer company Estrella Galicia. Ignacio Rivera, CEO of Hijos de Rivera, together with Marc van der Straten and Emilio Alzamora, revealed the new colours this evening.

“This weekend marks one of the highlights of the celebrations of our 110th anniversary,” commented Rivera. “How could it be otherwise, we wanted to move them to the paddock and involve the entire family of Team Estrella Galicia 0,0 present in all categories of MotoGP.”

“Therefore all our bikes and riders for this Grand Prix will sport some new colours together with a commemorative logo as a tribute to the 110 years that we have been producing our beers. I cannot think of a better scenario than this to join our celebrations.

“For us the Estrella Galicia 0,0 Team and MotoGP are very special, as we have grown with our teams and fulfilled our dreams together, forging champions slowly as we do with our beers.”
