BTC: Official British Talent Cup test kicks off at Valencia

1 of 1

The official pre-season test for the inaugural British Talent Cup kicked off in Valencia this morning with the 23 selected riders out on track for the first time aboard their Honda Moto3 machinery.

The riders from both the UK and Ireland, who were all chosen at last year’s selection event at the British Grand Prix – plus ex-Red Bull Rookie racer Rory Skinner, will sample the NSF250R for the first time at the Grand Prix venue that will host the final round of the championship later this year alongside MotoGP.

After this two-day official test, the season will kick off with two races in conjunction with the opening round of the 2018 Bennetts British Superbike Championship at Donington Park at the beginning of April.

The youngsters, all between 12 and 16 years of age, will also race alongside the World Superbike boys at Donington as well as making visits to the Snetterton and Assen BSB rounds and Silverstone and Valencia MotoGP events.
