British MotoGP: Schedule & TV times
The 2018 British Grand Prix takes place at Silverstone this weekend with the iconic Northamptonshire venue staging round 12 of the MotoGP World Championship.
Marc Marquez leads the championship standings over Valentino Rossi by 59 points with winner last time out Jorge Lorenzo sitting third ahead of Ducati team-mate Andrea Dovizioso, who took victory at Silverstone 12 months ago.
Ahead of the weekend, Thursday sees a packed Day of Champions schedule in aid of Two Wheels for Life with the entire MotoGP grid on stage throughout the day.
Track action gets underway on Friday morning with Moto3 Free Practice 1 kicking off at 0900 local time, before the big boys hit the 3.6-mile, freshly resurfaced track.
Qualifying takes place, as always, on Saturday, with Sunday’s race schedule slightly altered to see the Moto3 race go away first, MotoGP second and then Moto2.
BT Sport will be live across the weekend with a massive 25 hours of live coverage, kicking off with free practice and going through until well after the main event on Sunday with expert analysis from Gavin Emmett, Neil Hogdson, James Toseland, Colin Edwards, Keith Huewen and Suzi Perry.
