MotoGP: New Tata deal set to revolutionise TV coverage

MotoGP organisers Dorna say that a new deal signed with television back end provider Tata Communications will revolutionise the coverage of MotoGP that they provide to both host broadcasters and subsequently to viewers.

Working with F1 TV providers Tata, Dorna say that while viewers at home might not immediately notice the changes, it means that new technologies like 360­º cameras, ultra-high definition 4K images and high dynamic range broadcasts will become available.

Also promised is the end of the delay that online viewers currently receive, thanks to the rollout of new fibre optic and satellite uplink technology.
