Aron Canet continued to lead the way in the second Moto3 practice at sunny Silverstone this afternoon, beating Romano Fenati to the top spot by just in a close-fought session.

Fenati, who missed most of this morning’s FP1 due to technical problems with the Snipers Honda, was just 0.101sec slower than Canet, who lapped the 3.66-mile circuit 0.3 under the race lap record.

Bo Bensneyder, who was second quickest this morning, was the third rider on the timesheets under the lap record ahead of Jorge Martin and Fabio Di Giannantonio.
